While visiting my old friend (former Commanding Officer) and his family near Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, I stayed in a little cabin at the on base campground and beach area called "Onslow Beach." While there, I woke up every morning to view the magnificent sunrise. Most days, the sun hid behind a wall of clouds, such as in this photo where the Pelican can be seen gliding over the ocean waves. What a truly beautiful sight to behold each morning.
