When visiting friends in NYC, I had the rare opportunity to catch a moment in an empty subway car. I've only visited New York 3 times, but I am presuming that it's a bit rare to have a moment with an empty car. This was while getting off in Harlem on...I believe the D train. I seem to have to re-learn the transit system every time. Perhaps those who truly know the subway enough can spot which train it is just by the cars...I'm not sure. Either way, this is one of my favorite photos of my visit to NYC this winter, and I hope that you enjoy the opportunity to have a bit of the city to yourself, at home on your wall.
